New Yorkers get more convenient access to the national library
New Yorkers will soon have better access to the largest state library system in the nation, provided by the NOVEL - New York Online Virtual Electronic Library. To gain access and work with large amount, if not to say thousands of subscription-charging newspapers, magazines, extensive reference works and cutting-edge research, the New York drivers will just have to keep their driving license with them. The service is available from their home computers by using the identification number on the driver’s license or state ID card. The system will start its work this week.
