Bus drivers negotiations.

A tentative three-year deal has been reached with New York City school bus drivers on Wednesday. However, the deal still needs to be endorsed by the members of the local transit union. There are negotiations between the school bus drivers union and a city’s coalition of bus companies. The previous drivers' contract expired on Saturday. On Wednesday the union had threatened to go on strike. It happens on the first day of summer school. In case the negotiations came down, a strike would probably not begin until Thursday morning and potentially inconvenience up to 37,000 summer school students. The city transportation authorities have made an extra plan that gives an about 38,000 free Metro Cards for summer school students.
