Rose June
At Brooklyn Botanic Gardens every June is started Rose month. You can see roses of every hue. Wild species, old garden roses, hybrid teas, grandifloras, floribundas, polyanthas, hybrid perpetuals, climbers, ramblers and miniatures can all be admired in the early summer sunshine, a million miles away from the bustle of New York City. Brooklyn Botanic Gardens are open every day except Monday.
