Outsider Art Fair in New York

Some characterize modern American culture as “media-saturated” and “corporation-dominated”, when there is nothing new and original. In reaction to such tendency those who starved for something new are looking way outside the mainstream and creating a genre called Outsider Art. This term was created in 1972 and refers to works made by artists with no formal training. "The Outsider Art Fair," which is now displayed in Puck Building, is dedicated to this genre. The exhibits include famous works as well as unpopular ones.
